Got my masters! My kiddos’ families wanted to congratulate me! They surprised me with balloons, cards, & a breakfast feast with my second grade family. Achievements were never really celebrated in my family, so crying as a response was unexpected. I feel so loved. #collsedu
For the #superbowl, my kiddos have been working hard at getting the school to donate to those in need. We’ve been counting for our souped-bowl, and we have 410 cans of soup. We took guesses as a class and will compare our predictions with the final count on Monday! #collsedu
Last day to collect cans of soup for the #Superbowl !! So far, we have collected 410 cans of soup as a school. Can we beat the 498 record?? Last day to donate is Monday!!! #collsedu
I've been really getting into #pokemon, so I've been bringing it in my second grade classroom. It involves math, critical thinking, and reading! #collsedu
We invited our 2nd grade and K friends into our room this week for some bean bag fun and it was a HUGE HIT…So much, that Miss Thach’s class asked if they could come down every Friday!! #reverseinclusion#collsedu#zanenorth@missthach@MsLairmore
“We’re songwriters!” Some kiddos wanted to work with me during lunch to make a song. Not all of us are remembering what to do for markings in #fundations! Hopefully this song will help us remember 🎶🎵#collsedu
Let’s expand our vocabulary! The kiddos are working in groups on a poster that will be hung in the halls. When the students learn a new word, they will write it down and define it. Then, they’ll stick it on their poster. Great visual to show growth! #collsedu
We learned actors and actresses don’t read like robots! They must read fluently with expression. We tried out some acting today!! #collsedu#elementary#elementaryed
