Men aren't immune from the 'feeling sorry for yourself' epidemic. You see it in self talk, 'poor me, why don't I have xyz, why is all of the pressure and responsibility on me?' Or complaining to the pals about how work is, the wife, the kids, whatever.
Be careful. Once you think you're a victim, you are.
Love the struggle. Love the obstacles. Love the pressure.
Better it be on your shoulders than on your family.
This is why we're here, it's our purpose, we're both burden bearer and shield.
Opt-out from fear, worry about the future, concern about uncertainty, and get after it. Control what you can, release what you can't.
Carry the weight of your world on your shoulders as if it were a feather.
That's the Man in the Arena.
