Ilir's project is "Examining the impact of social media self-diagnosis of mental disorders on personal autonomy", and Zach's is "Cyborgian Collective Action in Action: A Case Study Using LLMs in the Classroom". 2/3.
I'm the faculty collaborator on Zach's project. He's developing a course assignment structure that integrates a specific type of generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT) into a traditional philosophy writing assignment. I'm especially excited about what he's up to! 3/3.
My department is doing interview videos with all faculty and I'm the third one up (@APotochnik and Tony Chemero are already online)! Short video here, slightly longer one over on YouTube.
I'm looking for an application that can read Word and pdf docs aloud. (While I know technically the Mac operating system accessibility program can, I have found it pretty bad, needing to restart it all the time, etc). Any recommendations?

Most colleges and universities have resources for students seeking accommodations but rarely are faculty members included. Does anyone know of resources for academic faculty/part-time faculty/VAPs/adjuncts trying to navigate request their own accessibility accommodations?
Do they use the same resources as students? What's reasonable? When in the hiring process is it appropriate to request such things? (I wonder if this kind of resource / advice is something the @apaphilosophy has already or could develop, or get some folks to write blogpost on?)
What are your burning questions about applying to teaching-focused philosophy jobs?! (Or, what advice would you give?) Leave a comment for @kmfaho's preparation for a workshop on applying to teaching-focused jobs for the Central AAPT-APA Teaching Hub!
Current or future philosophy job seekers: I'm developing a workshop about applying to departments that prioritize teaching. If you are or will apply to such departments, what topics or questions would be helpful for you?
Grad students working in LMP: submit to this!! One of the highlights in grad school was this conference, I'm so happy to see it still going. It's a pillar for the young philosophy of LMP community, and main way I met philosophers of physics who are now my contemporaries!
