NEW: Becerra v. Steyer? At KQED's request Mark DiCamillo of the @BerkeleyIGS poll shared results of their hypothetical match-up question: @XavierBecerra 30% , @TomSteyer 27%, 25% Neither, and 18% undecided. Well that would have been fun to cover, but we'll never know!
Los Angeles County has finished processing its uncounted ballots, save for those requiring a response from the voter / those requiring signature cures.
🚨And there it is. Nithya Raman overtakes Spencer Pratt in the L.A. Mayor's race in the latest update, which added 47,819 votes that broke 39.9% Raman, 32.8% Bass, 17.75 Pratt.
So Becerra's in the runoff, Pan has moved into #2 in CD6, Raman is looking like she could beat Pratt out for a #2 spot in LA Mayor's race, Vang is now in #2 against Matsui in CD7, and Villegas has expanded his lead over Bains in CD22. Quite a Friday dump.

Checkout today's @hereandnow -- I swung by to talk about CA's governor's race and why it WON'T be two Republicans in the November runoff
(Repeat: There will not be 2 Republicans)

Today on Political Breakdown: call it Lucy and the football, Ahab and the white whale: Democrats just can’t seem to beat David Valadao. It’s prompted a nasty Dem on Dem race between @DrJasmeetBains & @Villegas_CA22
We dig in w/ @GuyMarzorati & @mayacmiller@scottshafer
Can really see the increased rate of ballot returns from Democrats who likely decided in the Gov race over the weekend, and their ballots are now hitting county registrars.
