I want the White Sox shirt TA had on today that said ‘FAMILY’! I grew up on 31st and Shields…my grandson got to see that homerun at FIeld of Dreams with his dad with his Anderson shirt on! Have to have it! Passion and Love of the Game! Love this guy! @whitesox @TimAnderson7

Are you kidding! Disappointed students are missing a trip they worked hard to raise money for playing at ESPN Wild World of Sports and had to cancel. Disney refunds this but SOUTHWEST will not!!! To the tune of $12000!!!! REALLY? Not right! @chicagosmayor @JonesCollegeHS

When you find yourself saying “This is not what I signed up for...” remember this...yes it is, you just didn’t realize it was a part of what you signed up for. Push through the struggles and focus on the students...the true thing you signed up for.

I want to start our first week of 8th grade with a "math in the news" activity. I'm thinking about the mens/womens soccer salaries, Fortnite winner (hours played & winnings), top grossing summer movies, etc. Anyone have any other ideas??

One area of deep equity work is to move all of us from trauma informed to trauma sensitive to trauma responsive to schools, districts, and city agencies as healing & growth centers, prioritizing those historically underserved. That’s equity.
