After a tough end to the am I had a lorazepam nap. Really felt like giving up. But I've promised I'd keep fighting to a lot of people. On the stationary bike I was kinda drunk but I read Tyler dempseys' new essay. I did my best today.
we have a fantastic essay by Tyler Dempsey @tylercdempsey !

Robinson Crusoe is plagued with puritanical and racist garbage. There is only one chapter that has any redeeming quality and that is the one titled i see the shore spread with bones.
Brighton rock suffers from random racist and antisemitic depictions of people. It's a shame because it's kinda like a 30s gangster movie meets catcher. I'd find it hard to recommend this books but it's unusual depiction of relationships, catholiscm and morality are quite unique.
