This led to our first partial outage – multiple large communities onboarded at once, which backlogged event ingestion
This meant that for ~3 hours, new signups were waiting 15-90 mins to see msgs come through. Not what we wanted. 🥲
But the rest of the app was unaffected (you could still talk to Modem, browse, etc), and our event pipeline was flexible enough that we got through it w/ some tuning.
Apologies to users affected by the service interruption. We'll keep making this better.
