People love to act like "50% of gamers are women!" but never want to aknowledge that this just does not apply to the vast majority of big mainstream games. There are games that have a large female playerbase, but most mainstream games just do not.

Women have been in the space for the same time as guys.
Other than 3 games in the 90s nothing directly is marketed to only to men.
Depending on study, Women do make up 50 % of gamers too.
So why?
