Today's frontier models are tomorrow's open-sourced models. It is a matter of months before the world has access. Blocking sounds like setting the wrong precedent. What would happen 12 months from now? Won't the newer models be far superior than the current state.
What about AGI, the benchmark is set so high that this just feels a weird move.
