It doesn't make any sense bc you don't even need an actual ball to play football, you can play it without having any of the materials, that's why it's so popular worldwide, because is on of the most accessible sports.
That’s because, in USA, soccer is a more elite aristocratic sport. The people who play soccer have MONEY. Basketball is a poor ghetto sport.

Lowk maybe youre the one with literacy issues because decoding words with three cueing is not the same thing as decoding a words definition. Phonics will not help you define a word. deducing a definition based on its connotation in a sentence is a sign of good literacy
