We applaud today’s @US_FDA decision to approve over-the-counter birth control pills. Making them available over-the-counter will help reduce barriers and provide adolescents with another option for accessing contraception.

#Juneteenth is a both celebration & annual reminder of our country's failure to reckon w/ its history of slavery. While we cannot erase it, we can repair harm. If there is any hope of attaining equality for all, we needs to have a serious discussion about #reparations.

After years of advocating for a CT Earned Income Tax Credit, we are thrilled to thank the Governor and our legislators for increasing the credit to 40% in the budget. We celebrate that hard-working ALICE families will be more able to pay for the cost of their basic needs.
