I’m not sure about all the kids out there playing QB, but I’m overwhelmed by all the new teachings of QB tech! We are trying to teach what every exact body part should be doing at every moment! I just picked up a ball and practiced… played numerous sports to become an athlete… never had a true QB coach that trained me on technique… & I’d challenge anyone to an accuracy contest bc if what I learned along the way! I’m not saying all this stuff can’t be good, but I think too many times we are trying too hard to focus on ALL these things instead of letting guys learn to feel their bodies, understand the keys to throwing & figuring out what is right & wrong on their own! It’s really hard to self-correct when you don’t understand WHY you made or missed a throw… I had to figure this out on my own & it helped me to coach myself & be able to work on “throwing” when no one else was around!
