"I don’t think Turks even qualify to be China’s enemy."
Meanwhile great wall of china just built to protect china from turkish raids lmao
Says they dont really hate Turks and goes on to say how they actually don't like Turks and finds it insulting 😹😹😹
Jokes write themselves
We Chinese really don’t hate Turks. That’s actually quite strange.
Most Chinese people don’t even know much about Turks at all. To us, Turks are extremely distant and far away.
What’s truly strange is the Turks themselves. We don’t think of Turks as “Turkic people” at all — we simply see them as Anatolians. They have nothing to do with the Turkic people.
But Turks insist on calling themselves Turkic and constantly provoke China. For example, they claim they conquered China in ancient times. I have no idea how they explain their ancestors traveling 10,000 kilometers — from the Mongolian Plateau all the way through Northern Asia, Central Asia, Persia, and finally to Anatolia — crossing so many vast geographical regions, yet somehow “conquering China.”
They also mock China’s Great Wall. Treating such a nation as China’s enemy, or even a thousand-year blood feud, I find truly insulting. I don’t think Turks even qualify to be China’s enemy.
There’s a Chinese saying: “Among dogs, the Husky; among countries, Turkey.”
To us, Turkey is a very bizarre country, just like a Husky. Chinese people think Huskies are incredibly weird dogs — they suddenly do stupid things, and you can never predict what they’ll do next. That’s exactly how Turks appear in the eyes of the Chinese.
