The real tragedy of India is how, after 1947, a complex Indo-Islamic, Persianate and multicultural civilisation was reduced to a narrow Hindu-majoritarian national narrative, erasing the thousand-year heritage that built its greatest cities, monuments, arts, institutions and administrative traditions, even though this narrative doesn’t match the subcontinent’s real history and ignores the civilisation that genuinely defined the subcontinent.

“Muslim women and Hindu man get married under police supervision”
Whereas Ayush, a Hindu youth who reverted to Islam of his own free will, was harassed by the police, and his wife was jailed for allegedly converting him.
A Muslim woman and a Hindu man got married in Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun district under police supervision after a dispute between their families reached the local police station.
The marriage took place at the Khatu Shyam Temple in the Usawan area, where the couple completed the wedding rituals in the presence of police officials. The woman, identified as Hira Nazmi, also changed her name to Himanshi and later left for her husband’s home.
Couple Was in a Relationship for Four Years
According to officials, Atul, a resident of a village in the Usawan police station area, and Hira, who belongs to another village, had been in a relationship for nearly four years. The couple had reportedly solemnised a court marriage around six months ago.
However, despite the court marriage, Hira continued to stay with her family. Recently, Atul filed a complaint through the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS), alleging that his wife’s family was not allowing her to live with him.
Following the complaint, police began looking into the matter.

These are the minimum salaries I think software engineers should be earning in 2026.
• 2 years → ₹12 LPA
• 5 years → ₹25 LPA
• 7 years → ₹40 LPA
• 10 years → ₹60 LPA
• 15 years → ₹1 Cr
Before you say these numbers are unrealistic...
Ask yourself:
Has the job become easier?
Today's engineers are expected to know:
• DSA
• System Design
• Cloud
• DevOps
• AI tools
• Security basics
• Databases
• Distributed Systems
Meanwhile:
• Rent increased
• Living costs increased
• Competition increased
• Expectations increased
But many salaries haven't kept up.
The uncomfortable truth:
Experience is not rewarded.
Impact is.

UP Police broke every rule. Allahabad High Court just made them pay. 🚨
On March 19, cops barged into Mansoor Ahmad's home in Prayagraj, dragged him to the station, and threw him in jail... no warrant, no bail bond, no legal process. He sat behind bars for 8 illegal days.
Mansoor knocked on Allahabad High Court's door... and the court delivered. The HC ordered UP government to pay ₹2 lakh compensation within 6 weeks, to be recovered from the guilty ACP's salary after disciplinary inquiry.
The court called the denial of a personal bond "shocking"... and dropped a bombshell: 721 people have been illegally detained in Prayagraj Commissionerate alone in 2026. New orders now mandate audio-visual recording if bail is refused... violate it and it's ₹25,000/day plus action against the officer.
One man fought back. And changed the rules for everyone.

The Rajmahal Jama Masjid, located in Jharkhand, India. It was commissioned by Raja Man Singh and completed by 1656, it was erected on the orders of Emperor-Caliph Akbar.
