The progress continues. Today, I joined Mayor Pro Tem @Ryana4KC, neighborhood leaders, and the EPA in Blue Valley for a site visit at one of the vacant parcels we’re actively testing and preparing for cleanup. This is the work that has to happen first. Before we can build, we have to make the land safe. For too long, contamination has kept these lots from being used and held our neighborhoods back. Now, we’re changing that. This is what it looks like to move from vacant land to real opportunity on the East Side.
