He’s a great young man. Bumila has had to deal with so much this year, from scouts to media to jeers from opposing teams and fans. He has conducted and carried himself so well through it all. And he always makes time for the kids who look up to him. A very bright future awaits.
Even after the hardest loss of the season, Brody Bumila is still smiling for photos and signing hats and balls.

Sprinklers are on, so time to call it a wrap on the high school baseball season. Five brilliant games to finish it up at Polar Park. Can’t draw it up better than that.

Timmy Mills now joins the party with a two-run single (advancing on an error), and the Knights lead 13-4. They’ve scored ELEVEN RUNS in the fifth, ALL with two outs. Absolutely ridiculous. @GlobeSchools @CathMemKnights

Kevin Mills absolutely crushed this ground-rule double to deep right center, plating a pair and making it 11-4 Catholic Memorial. Weird fence in that part of the park. Needed an ump discussion for the ruling. Still tattooed. @GlobeSchools @CathMemKnights
