My favourite part of our writing journey is when children edit their own independent written pieces. The buzz in class is incredible as Year 5 are VERY excited to publish and share their narrative poetry. @stmargaretsath1@janeconsidine A surprise awaits… watch this space ✍️ 🎭
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎄 This is a very exciting time of year for our children and adults in school. ⭐️ 🐪 👑 #JesusIsComingSoon#JesusIsLord
All of us here at St. Margaret’s are really excited about taking part in the sponsored Reindeer Run on Monday 5th December, raising money for Mary Stevens Hospice. Please use the link to pay in your sponsor money. ☺️ justgiving.com/fundraising/s…
The time has come again where we are planning our next piece of writing. This time, we are planning our very own narrative poem inspired by ‘The Highwayman’ by Alfred Noyes. @stmargaretsath1@janeconsidine
Year 5 continue to be courageous advocates for our school. Please watch, like and retweet. Our children need your help and want their message to be heard. Together, we can do wonderful things and 'live life in all its fullness.' @stmargaretsath1@ITVCentral 🙌
Year 5 are continuing to be courageous advocates. @ITVCentral , look out for a message from St. Margaret’s at Hasbury. We have something important we want to share with you and our wider community 💪🙌👍🏻@stmargaretsath1
Year 5 are working together to edit and improve their writing. By reading aloud and focusing on intonation, children can spot their errors and edit spellings, punctuation and rewrite parts of their journals based on the events of Apollo 13 🌙 🚀 @stmargaretsath1
Year 5 are looking at what they’d need to set up their own civilisation. You can only choose 5. Which ones would you choose and why? 🤔 @stmargaretsath1
Year 5 are using OS maps to locate landmarks and physical features in our local area. In addition, we are looking at contour lines to describe the landscape at The Clent Hills. @stmargaretsath1
Some fantastic examples of vector drawings have been completed in Year 5. Children replicated work in the style of Paul Catherall using digital media. Well done 🧑🎨👩🎨🖼️ @stmargaretsath1
Thank you, @StJamesCEPri for inviting us to your Worship Forum. It was wonderful to be back after such a long time. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. @stmargaretsath1 ⛪️ ✝️
An amazing opportunity for a science investigation - we dropped tools and went outside! ☀️ Year 5 were investigating the apparent movement of the sun across the sky as well as focusing on the size of shadows. The weather was definitely on our side 💪 @stmargaretsath1
Year 5 are having an incredible day at the Forces in STEM Day at @RAF_Cosford. The awe and wonder is incredible to see on our children’s faces ☺️ @stmargaretsath1. It’s a thumbs up from us 👍🏻
What a fun-filled day we have had in London! We had a guided tour around the Place of Westminster, rode on the London Underground and visited the Natural History Museum. It’s safe to say it was an incredible experience and a first for many of our Year 6 pupils! @stmargaretsath1
What an amazing day Year 2 had with @DCTTrips! Our class got to investigate what life was like on the canal and explored the incredible caverns. The gasps of awe and wonder were truly heart-warming and an incredible way to end the Summer term. We even saw bats! @stmargaretsath1
