Shock, horror! High performing multi academy trust abuses its academy / trust freedoms… Opens school on Christmas Eve, doesn’t pay staff, but provides 1000 meals and 1000 gifts to 1000 children in partnership with charities.

🚨 Announcing the first recipients of our Diversity in Education Fund.
Despite being overrepresented among applicants for teacher training, people from ethnic minority backgrounds are considerably underrepresented in teaching. That’s why earlier this year, we opened applications for the Diversity in Education Fund.
Today, we’re delighted to announce that we’ll be working alongside six fantastic organisations, @Being_Luminary, @CharteredColl, @ChilternLT, @MindfulEquityUK, @NatInstTeaching and @NowTeachOrg, to support diverse teachers into the sector and build a more inclusive education system.
