And the new version removes equalifyFn which encourages only returning vanilla js value seems weird at first.
But it's making more sense after 1 day of coding. It will force you to compare finest grained value in the selector.
useShallow to the rescue when I need to select an array.

It solves the problem of react context updates causing child components to re-render everytime.
There's still a context, but a context to the ref which never updates.
Then using selector in the child makes child components subscribe to a specific value instead of all the store values.
