May is a poignant month to Blackpool fans - for one of our greatest adopted sons & finest England strikers ever, Stan Mortensen. Morty was born in May 1921, scored his FA Cup Final hat-trick for the Seasiders in May 1953 & passed in May 1991. Stan’s legend will live forever.🍊🏴

An absolute honour to meet Eileen today at Bradford City - 91 years young - who looks after the media room & bakes a Victoria sponge, flapjacks & Swiss rolls every match for guests. Eileen has been serving the club for 39 years. People like Eileen make the game special. #BCAFC
