The Spirit’s main work is not spectacular signs—its transformation. “If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.” Galatians 5:22 ESV

Constitutional crisis? Are you kidding me? Lest we not forget: weaponization of the DOJ, vaccine mandates, wasted tax payer dollars, funding the very countries that are known enemies, student loan forgiveness, and outright censorship. Idk what simulation you’re living in. Yikes.

We’ve had a cinematic drought for too long. Will the trend of below average formulaic superhero movies & remakes end, and the next great wave of actual story driven originality that separates itself from agendas, diversity scorecards and feminization of the leading man?

At the end of the day, archeological evidence, rock solid apologetics, or eloquent debate performances isn’t a foundational platform to root faith in. But Christ alone. “so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:5 ESV

We must realize that the Reformation world view leads in the direction of government freedom. But the humanist world view with inevitable certainty leads in the direction of statism.

This is so because humanists, having no god, must put something at the center, and it is inevitably society, government, or the state. #Schaeffer

The consequence of relativism is that in the end we all have our own reality. Objective truth means there is one reality. Truth for me and truth for you are bound to that reality. If we each have our own truth and reality, then communication becomes impossible.

Our natural tendency is to rely on self first, and only turn to our Creator when we “need” Him. This inevitably leads to resentment framing God as not “being there” during a trial. Drawing near to Him with every breath forms a relationship of total dependence.

“He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8

Have you ever heard someone respond to “would you like your baked potato loaded?” with a stone cold “no”. I’m not saying they might be crazy but I’m not asking them for any menu recommendations.

If an arsonist burns down your house, would you then hire that same person to rebuild your house?

Just to clarify, I don’t ride my bike to the grocery store because I’m trying to save the planet and “do my part”, particularly when it’s 115 degrees outside. I ride my bike because the price of gas is absurd and I refuse to overpay for a commodity that’s easily price controlled.

If someone says, “we don’t claim to have a monopoly on truth” but their beliefs are established in a system that is founded on exclusivity and membership in their community… how is that logical? I suppose the idea of ‘my truth’ relatively gobbledegook has infiltrated everywhere.

The Greek word translated "truth" is αλήθεια, which most closely resembles our English word "reality." It means "the manifested, unconcealed essence of a matter."
