There are places we pass through in life… and there are places that become part of who we are. Manchester will forever be my home. To the city, the club, and every supporter, my sincerest thank you. These past four years have been unforgettable, filled with moments my family and I will carry with us for the rest of our lives. There simply aren’t enough words to describe the happiness and warmth we’ve felt here. Thank you for every cheer, every memory, and for making us feel at home from the very first day. Forever a Red Devil ❤️

Can’t see United going with Iraola over Carrick. Yes Iraola is probably better on paper but they’re gonna have to go all in on as any remote failure will get a backlash to the levels we’ve never seen before. It would have to be someone amazing imo to get the job over Carrick

With CL football for next season all but guaranteed United should move swiftly on the Carrick decision. It will be far better for everyone to know where they stand and go into the close season knowing who’ll start in the dugout next year

The problem with the manager situation is that there aren’t many stand out characters. The Zidanes and Enrique’s aren’t coming so it’s limited to mid tier and up and coming ones or ex players if they keep Carrick. It’s as big a decision as it was when they kept ETH

United have a decent starting line up but quality in depth is poor. They’ll be tested big time next season with more matches. If they are happy being an underdog with a punchers chance they should stick with Carrick but if they want to dominate they’ll need a better coach

Carrick has done well steadying the ship at united and CL qualification seems inevitable. That’s down in part to the amazing city and Arsenal results and also in part to how bad and inconsistent rivals are

The same conversations resurface on x over and over again United need better players but we all accepted they won’t buy them so we need to get someone in who can get the best out of this bunch but now after one poor result we are back to needing better players again 🙃

The improvement to the squad in the last 12 months has been great. It was around this time last year zirkzee got injured and it was a disaster and we didn’t know how we’d cope without him 😩

Out of our forward players I really thought Cunha would become the one to miss out but he’s been nothing short of outstanding during these 10 matches. It’s worrying how much amad and mbeumo have dropped off and sesko won’t be happy staying on the bench forever

United in such a strong position now for CL qualification. A more convincing performance today than in recent matches which is important Cunha really looking like a proper United player. Sesko giving Carrick a headache (must start imo) and we’re really gonna miss Casemiro

I don’t agree with what Scholes posted about Carrick but the amount of quotes I’ve seen (I appreciate some will be fake) from ex pros saying he shouldn’t criticise his former teammate are ridiculous. Exactly the same stuff we hated when ole never got called out by them

United’s midfield needs an overhaul but there’s only Casimero that needs replacing and he’s been one of the clubs best players this season. It’ll have to be some player that comes in and replaces him. Any other midfield reinforcements will be bench players

A few weeks ago they was bad as they played a back 5 and didn’t follow the dna of the club. Now they only have 12 or 13 good players and one match a week…
Extreme reactions to results is a problem for a lot of clubs, but particularly Man United. Carrick hasn't become a bad manager overnight. His biggest problem is a thin squad. Stretched beyond a good 12 or 13 and there's not much there.

Carrick has done a fine job as interim head coach but take out the city and Arsenal fixtures United have played the same as they had done all season

Twitter is so amusing. A week ago I was reading how United would’ve been challenging for the title if Carrick had come in last summer. Now the squad needs an overhaul again 🐸 ☕️
