Best part of my day: entertaining my student’s 18 mo sister on zoom while students worked in breakout rooms. Good old fashioned peek-a-boo for the win!!!!☺️🙈☺️

I can’t tell you how happy it makes my heart to have these boys drop in to see me today. I taught them last year. This year they are seniors, learning virtually, and about to commit to play football in college. Good luck boys!!!

In my zoom classes, after the internet dropped us, I asked for a show of hands to see who was frustrated, overwhelmed, & exhausted. Both of my hands went up and about 60 student hands. Let them know you understand and feel it too. Then inspire, even if you don’t feel it inside.

Zoom live teaching started yesterday. I was utterly exhausted after talking so much. It is lonely with all those mics muted😆 I miss the chaos and the kids! But we will get through this TOGETHER!
