A subtle thing: Maquoketa Valley has put Anna Nefzger in the scorebook as #22 all season.
Nefzger would have been a senior this year, passed in an ATV accident between 7th/8th grade.
She was on trajectory to be the athletic equal of Imler, Tucker and Whittenbaugh.
