Thank you, @PGHtransit family! You showed up and showed out with service, kindness, consideration, and grit. Iām proud to be on your team, and thereās no stopping us.
We want to give a massive shoutout to ALLĀ of our employees!
From planning to execution, this would not have been possible without the dedication we saw from EVERY division and team member. Their kindness, patience, and commitment is UNMATCHED!
Make sure you thank a transit employee when you see them!
Iām at Monroeville Mall awaiting the @PGHtransit FREE Football Flyer to the #nfldraft
Thereās plenty of parking at 10:30 a.m.

Iāll be getting on a bus soon, so follow along to see how it goes!
Day 1 of the NFL Draft last night was a phenomenal success! Pittsburgh set a record with 320,000 first night attendees, there was an incredible amount to do at both the Point and North Shore, and @PGHtransit did a phenomenal job at transporting so many people.
Hi world! Welcome to Pittsburgh for the @NFL draft! A few things to know as you make your way into our fair city for the next few days:
1. A āPittsburgh leftā is a unique driving maneuver youāve never seen before. But donāt be defensive, that just shows other drivers fear.
2. Do not attempt to park downtown. If youāre from out of town, park in one the designated buss lots at places like monroveville mall.
3. Thereās tons of amazing food here, not just sandwiches and salads with French fries on them.
4. Weāre not a āsteel mill townā anymore, even though it makes up who we are as people. Tech, medical sciences, great universities, arts, and food make up who we are now. So come and see!
5. Donāt be afraid of the bridges. Again this just shows them fear.
6. Say hi to the giant rubber duck on the river.
7. And most of all: Letās go Pens, Go Steelers, and Letās go Bucs!
We have several two-car trains that are able to move about 430 people at a time, but with tens of thousands of people remaining on the North Shore, it's impossible to move everyone at once. Please be patient. We will get you home, it just may take some time.
The NFL Draft starts today! Remember, all T lines, the Monongahela Incline, and the "Football Flyers" (99N, 99S, 99W, 99E) are all FREE today through Saturday
