My electric bill was only $16.25 this past month. April’s sunny days have powered my solar system generously. Neighbors are unhappy with huge rate hikes and big bills in the $100s of dollars. Thank you, sun!

Such a nice Spring rain right now. I’m glad I don’t have to go anywhere. The cats and I are sitting on the back porch. I wish everyone had a back porch where they can sit and enjoy the rain.

Lost my job last Wednesday. No more Archivist position. I must have pissed someone off. They gave me a decent separation package. Not enough, but better than nothing. Hate to say they are going to miss me (so petulant), but they’re going to miss me.

This platform used to be so good, and so fun. Now it is filled with selfish, poorly educated people who watch WAY TOO MUCH tv and listen to radio/podcasts/whatever platform without checking facts or understanding basic civics. I’m sad it has come to this.

I removed Google Maps from
all my devices. Now I have to delete Apple’s maps app. If Yahoo! has done this, I’m going to Wikipedia. Hopefully Jimmy is resisting this ridiculous exercise in hubris.

Brrr, it’s going to be cold here. Just don’t give us snow, Gaia. We’ve had enough. I’m not alone in this. It also wouldn’t hurt if you could lay off on the most bitter cold forecasted. I’m just saying.
