Is Alperen for Chet sensible on paper?
Sure!
I still think the human dynamics here would dissuade Houston from such a deal. They know Alperen is built to be a prime-time player. He’s had his playoff struggles. But he hasn’t shrunk from the moment in either 2025 or 2026.

There are three of these giant misting stations spread across the Fan Festival.
Also multiple stations for water refills, free sunscreen and hand sanitizer. It’s a hot and humid day here in Houston. Definitely a solid test case of the various beat-the-heat measures installed.

Yesterday was Will Anderson Jr.’s first youth football camp in Houston, btw.
Great turnout. Hundreds of campers went through drills, races various activities w/Anderson. Seemed like a thrill for both the kids Texans’ star.
