Thank you @samswey for this perennially useful thread on evidence based solutions to #EndPoliceBrutality
For those who are interested in research-based solutions to stop police violence, here’s what you need to know - based on the facts and data. A thread. (1/x)
My old high school classmate @CarolineYLChen has consistently provided some of the most thorough, thoughtful, and readable (!!) coverage of Covid19. I’m grateful for her work and proud to have known her way back when
Came here to say @TNTP is crushing it with resources for schools and school systems working towards high quality #remotelearning Curated learning materials, supports for students with disabilities, strategies for reaching 100% connectivity, and more... tntp.org/blog/post/resources…

Do we think De Blasio special ordered this weather for Day 1 of #NYCLockdown ?
I was just speaking with a principal who asked me how I would approach remote learning for preK and early elementary students. Any advise #edutwitter? #distancelearning #earlylearning
This is extraordinary. Major props to Northshore School District for their rapid yet intentional response to #COVIDー19 in their community. Local gov at its finest. A model for districts forced to consider #schoolclosure and #virtualschool in the weeks to come

Long thread on how one WA district made the call to go virtual: Northshore School District, about a 30 minute drive Northeast of Seattle, is the first district in the U.S. to announce it will go fully virtual today in response to COVID-19.

I am consistently so impressed with @Delta’s customer service team. Every time I call, they are so friendly, efficient, and helpful. 5 out of 5 on the end of call survey every single time!
Nuanced take by a former student of @SenWarren’s on why she should NOT pledge to cut federal funding for charter schools. High quality charter sector isn’t a ā€œrepublicanā€ thing it’s an equity thing
Months 3-5: You're pregnant? But you're so small. Eat! Month 6: Oh look, a little bump. So cute! Month 7: OMG you're HUGE! I've never seen a human being so large. Can you even fit through the door? Is your due date tomorrow? Really looking forward to the comments in months 8-9
