I live in tier 3 city.
We have a kachara picking up vehicle coming everyday.
We had this great initiative started by our PM a few years ago.
But reality hits differently.
That waste picking vehicle comes everyday but the man only picks up kachra from the houses who pay him 50 rs extra every month.
Thats 600/year.
Additionally now my municipal corporation have passed a rule that the waste collection fee will be officially added in the house tax bill itself.
Vow, what a way to increase tax revenue.
Can you guess how much?
It's 600 rs/year.
So you expect me to pay 1200/year to get my house waste properly disposed off, which I expect to be basic liability for every government?
It's easy to announce initiatives and schemes but how much they really get implemented fairly on ground is the question.
This is applicable to every aspect, every policy, every initiative.
Corruption is at its peak in this country.
Slogan for that vehicle should be changed from
"GADIWALA AYA, CHAL KACHRA NIKAL"
to
" GADIWALA AYA , CHAL PAISA NIKAL".
