and in the strangest of times - we are go! MultilayerAlgs launched at the beginning of July. We'll defer our kick-off cake to the future, but for the moment watch this space for updates on our graph theoretic activities, as well as more casual updates on our team. 🎉🥳🎂

Our job adverts are live - two postdoc posts with slightly different ideal skill sets: one in random graphs, one parameterised algorithms. Please consider applying, and get in touch with absolutely any questions. Here, email, or @researcherJess jobs.ac.uk/job/BWG821/resear…

We are waiting for the HR processes to grind, but in the meantime: we will soon be advertising for two 3-year postdoc positions. Ideally, one will have skills in random graph theory, the other in parameterized algorithms. Informal enquiries encouraged, here or @researcherjess

Hurrah! We are officially an @EPSRC funded project. We celebrated with a multilayer cake.

We have reviews! Pretty good, but with a few reasonable concerns from one particular reviewer. It's PI response time.
We've finally submitted the proposal! First, a wee celebration, and then waiting hopefully for reviews.
We've taken so long to prepare this proposal that the indirect cost rates for one of our institutions changed overnight last night, and therefore they need to re-cost.
Today we're deep in the minutiae of costings and forms and HR rules. Surely submission must be in sight!
We delayed our submission for a while for administrative reasons, but we're now entering the home stretch. In the last week or so lots of up and downs: feedback is helpful, but often feels like it creates more work!
Which is harder to write: the project's first tweet, or the Case for Support? Currently, only an (obvious) bot cares! @ChristinaJerge1
