What is wrong with you @pglesports? Why did you hire a key member of russian (!) esports federation to host the PGL Astana stage?
This guy on stage next to @BanKsEsports is Illia Pelekhatskiy. He works as a creative producer for RESF - russian esports federation. Let me remind you what is RESF famous for:
- RESF is basically a russian government organization created to control esports in russia
- RESF opened multiple branch offices in Ukrainian cities occupied by russian army
- RESF organized multiple esports tournaments in occupied cities of Ukraine to spread russian propaganda among youth
- Of course RESF organizes tournaments in a partnership with sanctioned companies, for example Sberbank (EU imposed sanctions on Sberbank in July 2022).
As a creative producer of RESF Illia comes up with ideas on how to make Ukrainian youth loyal to russian occupation forces and esports is his key instrument. Absolute disgusting choice of stage host Mr @ssilviu…

We had meeting and consultations with board of investors. We’ve decided to temporarily cease operations of @iklagg due to insecurity of investments. We cannot invest hundreds of thousands (millions if needed) of dollars in team when it’s just luck decides if you will play vs cheaters on online qualifiers or not. Teams are not secured in any way. We will take pause until 2025 to reconsider possible return to CS as a team if we will see positive changes.
What does it mean for the players now ? All our players will be benched and put on transfer list starting 01.02.2024. Our last officials will be IEM Chengdu #2 open qualifiers. If you are interested in our players contact me via email maxbednarsky@gmail.com
I want to thank everyone who has supported us during this time. Also I want to thank all staff members and players for their dedication and commitment during the process. Special thanks to haters - you always give more energy to move forward)
