NEWS: Jon Edwards, a SpaceX senior vice president who joined in 2004 when it had fewer than 50 people, was at the Nasdaq for the IPO and said it "did not feel like mission accomplished. Not even close." Jon Edwards runs Falcon and Dragon and has been at SpaceX for more than two decades. He was at the Nasdaq for the debut. He said the people of SpaceX have poured everything into the company for over 20 years, sacrificing time with family, sleep and a lot of life along the way. Standing at the Nasdaq felt like validation of that work. But in his words, it "did not feel like mission accomplished. Not even close." His take. It was another milestone on the journey and they are just getting started.

NEWS: Former X CEO Linda Yaccarino has congratulated Elon Musk and SpaceX on the largest IPO in history. The tie is personal. X is now part of that public company. It folded into xAI last year and xAI merged into SpaceX in February. Yaccarino ran X from 2023 until she stepped down in 2025. She said she is proud of the small role she played protecting free speech on the platform. She called the IPO a reminder that "dreams and an unflinching mission still matter" in America. Her message to the team. America and the world thank you.

NEWS: Tesla has filed a Robotaxi First Responder Interaction Plan covering nine areas across the entire Phoenix metro in Arizona. The areas. Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Glendale, Chandler, Gilbert, Paradise Valley and Maricopa County. This document is a required step before running driverless Teslas with no safety driver on public roads. It tells police and fire crews how to approach, stop and talk to a car with no one behind the wheel. The footprint puts Tesla straight into Waymo's backyard. Waymo has run robotaxis in the Phoenix area since 2018 and now does about 500,000 paid rides a week across its fleet. It follows Tesla's filing for a permit to run 5,000 robotaxis in Nevada and its plan for robotaxi-only Superchargers in the East Valley.

JUST IN: One year of free Supercharging on the Tesla Model 3 ends Monday in the US. The perk applies to new Model 3 Premium and Performance orders. June 15 is the cutoff. Tesla rolled it out in April to lift demand. Depending on how much you drive, a free year of charging can be worth several hundred dollars and up to roughly $1,200. The entry level Standard trim does not qualify. The deal can stack with Tesla's 2,000 mile trade in charging credit and its 0.99% financing.

NEWS: SpaceX went public today and the numbers are staggering. What Elon wanted. SpaceX set out to raise about $75 billion at a $1.77 trillion valuation. It priced at a fixed $135 a share, take it or leave it. What he got. He got the $75 billion, the largest IPO in history. And the market wanted far more. Demand topped $250 billion, roughly four times the shares on offer. Then it opened. $SPCX jumped to about $167 a share, up nearly 24% on day one. The valuation ran past the IPO mark to $2.16 trillion. That is close to $400 billion added in a single session. Where Musk stands now. The pop made him the world's first trillionaire, with a net worth around $1.1 trillion. Where this is heading. The next catalyst is fast entry into the Nasdaq 100, about 15 trading days out in early July. Only about 4% of shares trade freely, so index funds will be forced to buy into a tiny float. Through the end of June that demand is a tailwind. If the momentum holds into the inclusion, a move toward $200 and a valuation near $2.5 trillion is on the table. That is a scenario, not a promise. Bears still warn of a pullback once insider lock-ups expire. But on day one, this is already the biggest market debut the world has ever seen.

NEWS: Tesla's first Folding Unit Superchargers have landed in Europe. These are pre-assembled V4 stations that ship folded and unfold on site. Tesla drops the unit in, connects power and it goes live. No field wiring between stalls. No technician needed to commission it. Each unit pairs one V4 cabinet with 8 charging posts. The cabinet pushes up to 500kW per stall and up to 1.2MW total. Two units fit on a single truck, so that is 16 posts per delivery, up from 12 before. Tesla's charging chief Max de Zegher says the folding units deploy twice as fast and cost more than 20% less than the old design. Installs that took weeks now take days. This is how the network scales. Build the Supercharger in a factory. Truck it in. Unfold it. Charge.

NEWS: As Tesla FSD Supervised expands across Europe, the Czech Ministry of Transport says it is working on its approach. The ministry posted a full clarification on X. The main points. ~ The Dutch RDW approval is temporary and applies only inside the Netherlands. It is not automatically valid across the EU. ~ Other member states can adopt it through their own decision. Most key EU states are waiting on the European assessment first. ~ The expert assessment continues. The next round of EU Technical Committee talks on motor vehicles is set for June 30. ~ FSD Supervised is not autonomous driving. It is an SAE Level 2 system where the driver stays in control and keeps full responsibility. ~ The ministry says it is not blocking the tech. The Czech Republic is the second EU country after Germany with a Level 3 legal framework. It is preparing one for Level 4. One claim did not hold up. The ministry said this affects fewer than 300 vehicles. A community note now rated helpful on X corrects that. European Commission data shows Czechia had 8,642 registered Teslas at the end of 2024, nearly a quarter of its battery electric car market. Every Tesla built since 2023 carries the HW4 hardware FSD Supervised runs on. The real number is in the thousands, not the hundreds.
