I want to introduce you to Steve. He’s 83. His wife died a few months ago and he comes to this lodge in Spring Mill, Indiana and draws. He taught art in Terre Haute, IN his whole life. He also did courtroom sketches in court cases. In the comments I’ll share some pics from his sketchbook. He was excited when I said I was going to share his sketches with the world.

I learnt a long time ago that there is a big difference between making a living and making a life. In the times to come, AI will get increasingly better at the skills that we've used to make a living. Our imperative will be to instead make lives. Not artificial lives. Or artificial lives. But our own lives and of those we love. As machines get better at answering, and solving what they are asked, our work is to get better at asking, at making, creating, and deciding which questions are worth a life, and refusing to outsource that.

Get paid for decluttering. Nice! Grok says NoKasa is currently operating mainly in Bengaluru with limited slots.
India throws away over 7 million tonnes of textile waste every year, not because people don't care but because they don’t know how to dispose of it. Two engineers saw this gap and built NoKasa, an app where you can book a pickup. An agent comes to your home, grades your clothes on the spot, and sends cashback via UPI immediately. They've already kept 1 lakh garments out of landfills. Such a good innovation to keep cities clean.

Public transport must be at the heart of India's urban future. Yet it accounts for just 25% of urban trips, while congestion already costing our cities more than $22 billion a year. What Mumbai has done in BKC with Friday Public Transport Day, every Indian city should aim to replicate. Designate a day. Engage employers, businesses and institutions. The default must shift from private vehicles to public transport. It starts with one day and grows into a city's habit. Gr8 initiative @MMRDAOfficial @DrSanMukherjee @WRIIndia

Three generations, one frame. 🌳✨ An ultimate family portrait: a giant, ancient Mahua tree, its one-year-old saplings reaching up, and fresh seeds on the ground ready to start the cycle all over again. A beautiful legacy of Nature 💚 #NatureLovers #Forestry #Biodiversity #MahuaTree

There are two serious options. Composting lets it break down in open air into manure. Biomethanation seals it in a tank, lets bacteria turn it into biogas, fuel that can run CNG buses and PNG kitchens. Composting gives you fertiliser. Biomethanation gives you both fertiliser and fuel.
