Perfect spots for em. Grassy banks around rivers/lakes. I'm always walking rivers. Last 2 weeks seeing decent populations along St. Croix, Mississippi, MN rivers. Interestingly, same locations/time last year had remarkably more fireflies. Concerning. (Based solely on my obsvs)

Last week, I went searching for an abandoned railroad tunnel 70 miles NE of Duluth in the Finland State Forest. Built 1957 for taconite mining. Longest rail tunnel in Minnesota at 1800 ft. After some driving, hiking & climbing I found it. Surprised at what was inside 🛤😨🧊🥶🚂

I went on Vista Fleet cruise in Duluth for the first time in 30 yrs. Probably best "tourist" activity in the city also so worth it for veteran north shore visitors. The sightseeing tour is incredibly informative abt stuff you've been lookin at forever. Totally engaged for 2 hrs

After a grueling 12 hour video shoot in 40°f weather outside and a 100°f temp inside a dangerous, falling apart, dilapidated house interior... I was the only one in our group to make it in the video. 🤷‍♂️ For like 2 secs. Lol. And Mick gave me his guitar pick 😎
