An unfortunate event but we learned a lot from it.

Yesterday, Sui experienced a prolonged disruption due to an internal divergence in validator consensus processing causing a network stall for approximately six hours.
The team identified the issue, implemented a fix, and validators elected to upgrade to it so normal consensus could resume, bringing the network back to fully operational performance.
While this interruption was unintended, it confirmed Sui’s safety-focused architecture did what it was designed to do: protect the network. We thank you for your patience.

We've enabled closing of Cetus positions yesterday and now the USDC and suiUSDT vaults are unpaused as well!
Thanks to the 90% liquidity recovery on relevant Cetus pools, the vault (lender) liquidity is now fully covered and withdrawable, while LP users will claim the remaining portion through Cetus compensation (on Cetus app). So effectively, Kai is now entierly free of bad debt!
These past 2.5 weeks have been incredibly intense, and we couldn’t have gotten through it without the patience, support, and trust of the Kai community. Thank you all for standing by us — it truly means a lot.
We’ve got a bit of cleanup left over the next day or two—then it’s full steam ahead with the new features we had lined up (delayed only by the Cetus incident). We’re excited to finally share them with you!

Mysticeti is one of the simplest BFT consensus protocols, while delivering best in class latency and throughput. But formally specifying it isn't trivial - how should we model actively malicious nodes, for example? Huge props to @informalinc for formally specifying and model checking Mysticeti with Quint! This can be a very useful tool in our ongoing work to productionize Mysticeti FPC.

Do you know coin transfer can be initiated from the SuiVision account page?
When sending coins, I always needed to double check the target account in both SuiVision and Sui wallet, to make sure I'm not sending to a "poisoned" account and I pasted the right address. Now I can just hit "transfer" directly on the SuiVision account page, which solves both concerns!
