Part 2 of designing STICK!
This is where users stop learning about the app and start building their accountability system.
Instead of asking only:
"What habit do you want to build?"
STICK also asks:
"How do you want to stay accountable?"
Users can:
👤 Go Solo
🤝 Compete with a friend
Then they:
✅ Create a routine
✅ Add actions to complete daily
✅ Learn the accountability rules upfront
✅ Earn their first coins during onboarding
I wanted users to understand the commitment before starting the routine, not after.
Because consistency isn't built by motivation alone, it's built by accountability.
Most habit apps help you create routines.
"STICK" helps you actually stick to them.
The onboarding focuses on answering one question before sign-up:
"Why should I use this?"
Users immediately learn that they can:
🏃 Compete with friends or go solo
🏆 Earn rewards for consistency
📸 Upload proof of completed tasks
I chose to explain the core value before account creation so users understand the product before committing.
