Amber Ward is a 12-bed psychiatric intensive care unit, nursing male and female patients with severe mental health illnesses. Amber Wards patients are often too unwell to leave the ward, limiting their access to exercise which can negatively impact on their well-being. ⤵️

Can’t say I’m a great teacher.. service users would agree I am not. “Learn to crochet” group became a 2 hour chat with lots of laughs over how difficult crocheting apparently is (who knew!)
Service users gave it a good go but we changed to a bit of bracelet making instead! 💕

Emma - 'Have friends that you love'
It doesn't matter if you have a thousand or one friend. It's all about quality over quantity. I agree with Emma, I'd rather have one person I can truly call a friend than a thousand acquaintances. Find those who matter and keep them.
