💙: Honestly I don't think I've bought much lately but there is one thing I got recently, I changed the character attached to my microphone
🩷: Hyung, that doesn't count, excluding equipment!
💙: Then what did I buy… Ahh there is something I think was a great purchase!!
💙: A gua sha tool
💙: So my neck wasn't feeling great, so I went to an ENT clinic, I asked the doctor what the problem was and after examining me, they said my vocal cords and everything else looked completely fine, there wasn't actually anything wrong with them
💙: Instead they told me it would be good to loosen the muscles around my vocal cords, they pointed to this area here and said I should massage it often
💙: At first I used my hands but because of my fingernails it hurt too much so I bought a gua sha, I use it all the time now and practically carry it around with me

💙: If I had to choose, I think the first livestream we did after Born Savage came out, as well as the comeback live are the ones that stick with me the most
💙: Born Savage livestream… because we also did the conveyor belt segment again for the first time in a while right? That’s probably why it left such an impression on me

Yejun talked about why he's been listening to Silica Gel's Kyo181 nonstop lately. He said the song feels like an interview that follows one person's life, constantly asking questions like "Have you loved?", "Did you bring your passport?" etc. But what stuck with him most was the final line "Kyo, have you ever touched me?" While some people might take it literally, Yejun interpreted it differently. To him after going through everything life throws at you, the lyric becomes a question of whether you've ever taken a moment to embrace and comfort yourself. He said he wanted to share the song with listeners because he hopes that at the end of an exhausting day, people can be a little kinder to themselves and give themselves that comfort 🥺

Yejun's way of interpreting lyrics always amazes me honestly, he took a line that could've been read literally and turned it into something SO PROFOUND... the more I listen to Yejun talk about music, the more I realize how deeply he pays attention to lyrics. That's what I admire most about him.
