If great software is an act of empathy [1], writing a programming language is the ultimate act.
There should be more languages. They don't need to be broadly scoped or even Turing complete. They could just be a nicer way to interact with your thermostat.

The fact that @googlenest has all of your video but only lets you export what they deem a “clip” is bizarre.
Solution is to screen record on your phone or computer.
Nest is so obviously being killed off
