After a few days of this, the young lumberjack finally confesses to the older one: "Every day I try to cut more wood than you, and every day you seem to cut as much as me. And you disappear for a few hours. What are you doing while you are gone?" ⬇️

If great software is an act of empathy [1], writing a programming language is the ultimate act. There should be more languages. They don't need to be broadly scoped or even Turing complete. They could just be a nicer way to interact with your thermostat. linkedin.com/pulse/great-sof…

The fact that @googlenest has all of your video but only lets you export what they deem a “clip” is bizarre. Solution is to screen record on your phone or computer. Nest is so obviously being killed off
