They do know that Youtube is available on the TV do they? You know…a ‘shared device’?

Keir Starmer will introduce nightly social media curfews for 16 and 17 year-olds. Candice Holdsworth is against it: "It's the job of parents, not the state." Watch Plank Of The Week on YouTube: youtu.be/RwZMGz0aGcA @TVKev @DobbsandPolicy @elliehodges62 @CandiceCarrie

Has the Government considered that almost 50% of Youtube viewing is on a TV - shared device (often set up with a parents log-in).

Am in Dublin with my Mum in hospital, she has RTE on all the time.. All I hear is about Israel. I had not realised the level of obsession, radicalising the whole population. Are they being funded by Qatar. It is truly sickening.

David Hockney gone! What a loss. I remember being stunned at his iPad art that was so amazingly early in the tablet revolution. I was scrabbling round trying to work out what software he was using.

As far as I know @TAM_Ireland (who measure and report TV audience numbers in Ireland) don’t measure/report viewing of the UK channels that are available there. So we won’t know how many people in Ireland decide to watch Eurovision on the BBC.

This is disgraceful by Sky News.
.@SkyNews editors refuse to issue an on-air apology over Yalda Hakim's erroneous Lebanon death toll claim - or remove the social media posts which are spreading the lie. camera-uk.org/2026/04/19/zer…

A good time to retweet this:
I genuinely think I might I might cry. We are listening to the legend that is science broadcaster James Burke talking through the making of his iconic TV coverage of the Apollo space programme. #DTGSummit

Is this the best timed TV sequence ever? James Burke covering live the Apollo 11 mission for the BBC in 1969. ht @bluedotfestival

Its fair to ask @rts_media, what the bloody hell are you doing here?
Hi @RTS_media Just a heads up. Here’s nominee Jordan Gray having a friendly chat with Stephen Ireland, a convicted paedophile about getting access to children. h/t @Jonnywsbell

Interesting battle of wills.
Ofcom wrote today, harassing 4chan again about the fine for engaging in perfectly lawful conduct in the US. We replied with a hamster. When Ofcom wants to get serious and have a merits discussion about their powers, they can show up in a US court as a plaintiff.

Jeremy Bowen represents everything wrong with the BBC. He is smug, overly opinionated and blatantly biased, yet he views himself as a paragon of objectivity. No wonder nobody trusts the Beeb anymore, says Limor Simhony Philpott buff.ly/40zWuTh

‘Not a disaster’
✍️'It is maddening how people in rugby try to apologise for it, undersell it and hide the best bits of it. If we have to have adverts, please do them at penalty kicks, when 29 men stand still and nothing happens' ⬇️ @willgkelleher on ITV's ads thetimes.com/sport/rugby-uni…

Replying to @ITVSport
@ITVSport running adverts during scrum time in the Six Nations is laughable. Imagine thinking that was the moment for ads. A historic competition treated like background noise. Embarrassing. Do better! Bring back @BBCSport coverage 👏 #SixNations2026 #itv #rugbyunion
