@MLB has allowed this forever. Not just Bible verses, but also initials of someone who has passed away. Guys have done this for decades.

Just thought Iβd point out that Saint Augustine equated gladiatorial fights with pagan worship and a form of curiositas (disordered curiosity), a perverse appetite for suffering as entertainment that habituates the soul to cruelty and feeds concupiscentia oculorum (lust of the eyes).
Christians, he explains both in Confessions and in City of God, should avoid them as incompatible with rightly ordered love.

If you think birthing a typically-developed child means you'll have an easy parenting journey, I've got a beachhouse in Arizona to sell you. I've seen plenty of "normal" kids wreck their parents mentally, emotionally, physically and financially while never achieving stable adult lives. Special needs kids aren't the problem - the problem is this insane idea that you're owned a life that's always Instagram-perfect and wonderful.
