“It is not difference which immobilizes us, but silence.” - quote by Audre Lorde written down colorful horizontal stripes of the new Sierra Hall mural, celebrated during a dedication event on campus today. #PackPridebit.ly/3oB3wBi
The Sierra Hall mural, painted by MFA alumnus Rafael Blanco, is a poignant example of public art. Kudos to all those @UNRLiberalArts, @unevadareno and @NevadaASUN who helped this come to fruition. It’s a stunning display that our institution can be proud of for years to come.

For our 50th Hero of the Day, we’d like to honor Nevada State Public Health Lab @unrmed. The medical professionals at the lab have processed nearly 60K #COVID19 tests since Feb, ramping up to perform as many as 2K tests a day. Thank you, NSPHL, for your work during the pandemic.
There is no doubt 2020 will be remembered as one of the strangest and most challenging years in modern history. While news of the @_NevadaFIT cancelation may not be pleasant, it is the right thing to do as part of our commitment to managing this pandemic. bit.ly/2WVfVEI
