We had grand plans to adopt this site, restore some local heritage & to serve the community; an inclusive space for coastal exploration and wellbeing. Will it now be left to ruin and the land sold for development?
🚨 Disappointed but determined. The Council has rejected our proposal to transform the Knap Lifeguards Building into a community hub. We won't stop fighting for this historic site! 💪 Read more: yriff.org/ #SaveTheKnap #CommunityMatters

Hadn't actually considered visiting Weymouth UNTIL I heard the town council take a stance against the nonsense about clearing the natural state of the beach. Well done @WeymouthWTC 👍🤠 Great response from @ChrisGPackham on @BBCr4today too. bristolpost.co.uk/news/uk-wo…

For those watching on BBC2, the final episode of @IoloWilliams2 's Borderlands airs this coming Friday. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as we did!
The final episode of @IoloWilliams2 's Borderlands is out on @BBCWales tonight. I'm thinking back to this beautiful morning spent in a hide with @GrahamHorder1 around a year ago, watching a mesmerising behaviour unfold. I think this might be my favourite episode, but sshhhhhh

Here's the NRW consultation on their proposed approach to 'regulating the release of gamebirds' into Wales. *Thought it needed a share since the top hits on Google call for 'all hands deck' from those involved in game shooting* tinyurl.com/5ba28sjn

An enormous and varied, but nonetheless hidden, gem. @SteB777 was my amazing guide around Whixall Moss NNR for 'Iolo's Borderlands'. He gives his knowledge so freely and now he's helped create a site guide for everyone to enjoy. Good egg.
The Nature Trail leaflet is available for Whixall Moss NNR. I helped put this together for all naturalists, visiting the Moss for the first time. It will save people a lot of looking around as I've highlighted key spots to look for signature species. themeresandmosses.co.uk/visi… 1/🧵

Take a short moment to search their names and hear their stories. #InternationalWomensDay
These two conservationists have been jailed for just doing their jobs: studying Iran's incredible natural heritage. This #InternationalWomensDay I so hope we can #freeiranianconservationists (of course also their male colleagues who are jailed with them).

I love this collaboration for its multidisciplinary efficiency. The information is out there, the data-crunchers are out there, therefore the healthcare solutions are out there ultimately.
