Tried to get some marbled salamander footage for an upcoming video and lucked into this beautiful mud salamander sharing a log with 7 marbled salamanders on their eggs! The best encounters in nature are the ones you least expect!

Indigo snakes are the longest snakes native to the US. Their scientific name means ‘Lord of the Forest’ and they are top predators, eating anything they can get in their mouths. That includes rattlesnakes and other venomous species. #WorldSnakeDay
