First, the Islamic Resistance is our miracle. Her men are the jewel that decorates our existence. To have lived in their age, to have witnessed their devotion, their sacrifice, their faith, their extraordinary constancy, is a kind grace. I shall weep for our Martyrs eternally, not the weeping of despair, but the most tender & most dignified of griefs… the kind that knows what it has lost, & refuses, on that very account, to forget.
Second, I will never forget how quickly so many in this country rushed to bury us while we were still alive.

My little sister has started to understand and speak, and she asks me for food every day. She asks for fruit like any child her age, not knowing that I stand helpless in the face of rising prices and limited means.

✅Lorenzo sends the funds *regularly* to Shadi's family—this way, even on the off-chance that gfm shuts down the campaign (despite it being set up correctly), the majority of the money will have been withdrawn and sent to the family. This also makes sure that the money can't be stolen.
✅The campaign has been launched 2 years ago (February 2024). The majority of the money raised so far has already been spent on daily necessities like food, water, medicine, transportation, shelter etc., as well as on bigger expenses such as Shadi's father's surgery. The Sameer Project is scrambling to stay functional. We cut our food production by 50% and stopped giving out meals with meat. On June 12th, we gave out 485 bulgur meals to 112 families in Fares Camp, Tal Al Hawa, Gaza City. Total cost with 11% commission was $809.
