Last week, the
@OntarioCofC was delighted to join the
@LdnOntChamber for their 46th Annual State of the City Address, where our President and CEO,
@DanTisch, spoke just before Mayor
@JoshMorganLDN took the stage.
Daniel spoke about the "elephant" not in the room – which is the looming threat to Canada-U.S. trade, and how chambers of commerce can work with our governments, and with businesses across the border, to showcase Ontario's strengths, address our economic vulnerabilities and find a better alternative to a mutually destructive trade war.
His remarks coincide with the launch of the OCC’s ‘Ontario Competes’ campaign, highlighting the OCC’s strategic priorities for the 2025 provincial election and beyond. The campaign includes our top 12 recommendations to achieve:
1️⃣ A competitive business and trade environment
2️⃣ Qualified people, diverse talent
3️⃣ Healthy and sustainable communities
4️⃣ Growth-enabling infrastructure.
