NCPH will be stepping back from this platform. Our account, which retains the history and memory of a vibrant and joyful online public history community, will stay up, but we will no longer be actively monitoring or posting here. 1/
We look forward to spending more time with our public history community in online spaces where the skies are bluer. You can also find us on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, and we may soon have a few new tricks up our sleeves. 2/
For non-members, the best way to keep up with NCPH is to sign up for infrequent emails via ncph.org/#newsletter-signup. For more frequent updates from us, you can join our community of public historians at community.ncph.org/.

The following is a statement from NCPH President, @DDMeringolo, on the recent 2024 Presidential Election results.
ALT Statement from NCPH President regarding the 2024 election results: I am not presuming that we are all having the same response to the 2024 election, but I know it raises many questions. We all need time to process our emotions. When we emerge, I want us to remember that we need public history now more than ever. We must foster critical thinking, facilitate difficult dialogue, and center human dignity. We must believe, support, and empower people whose lived experiences are marginalized and dismissed. We must preserve connection and community. And we will. - Denise Meringolo.
