Nigeria trying to fine WhatsApp $200m to be given to Government officials is what keeps the country stuck. WhatsApp produces BILLIONS of dollars of value to the citizens of Nigeria, if they leave, it will cost the PEOPLE far more than $200m in deals.
If Government wants money, invest in tech businesses. Do not try to extort big companies to pay. If you want to tax them, then do it officially.
This is just money extraction from something you did not work for or participate in, I do not support it.
