It still doesn't feel like the Pro Evo I loved but the magic of carving open an opportunity against a stubborn defense and taking it is still there!
I hope more people pick it up to improve matchmaking 🥲

I've went from being disappointed we didn't see more of #OcarinaOfTime in yesterday's #NintendoDirect to not wanting to see anything more of it at all!
I'll definitely be getting it so why deprive myself the opportunity to walk out into the new Hyrule Field completely unspoiled!

I've been back chipping away at #DonkeyKongBananza this week but most of the time since the credits rolled last year has been spent destroying the landscape with the elephant and then using whatever maps I uncovered to find bananas and fossils.
It's a tedious cycle 😕

I finished #MetroidPrime4Beyond on #NintendoSwitch2 last night 🙂
It's a good game but nothing more, unfortunately. The original Metroid Prime is one of the greats and Beyond never really comes close, not that I expected it to.
Surprised I even hit 58% with tedious scanning 😅

I resumed #OlliOlliWorld after a long time away and it feels like this may be the time it finally sinks its teeth into me 😀
I did love the original games and also bought this shortly after it came out but never properly got going.
I've completed the 1st area. Great stuff 🔥

I guess this brings an end to #MarioTennisFever on #NintendoSwitch2 outside of playing online and some local multiplayer with my kids eventually 🙂
All medals obtained! The trials were definitely the main meat of the single player but even they became irritating towards the end!

It's taken a little while but I finally got the chance to finish #ResidentEvilRequiem tonight on #NintendoSwitch2 🙂
I had been enjoying it early on and was impressed with the atmosphere but I seemed to lose all momentum with just chipping away at it sporadically for weeks 🥲

Maybe we're too far removed from when snaking was ruining #MarioKartDS or when wheelies gave the bikes in #MarioKartWii an irritating advantage but I'm starting to think #MarioKartWorld has my least favourite online experience in the series!
It always feels like a waste of time!

The edited image may be a little harsh but I played through #ThankGoodnessYoureHere on #NintendoSwitch this week, after picking it up on sale, and it was a disappointingly tedious affair.
There were a few mildly humourous moments but not enough to compensate for the gameplay 😕

My son got back into #LonelyMountainsDownhill on #NintendoSwitch over Easter and it has inspired me to get back on the saddle too. Such a good game and there is plenty left to do!

I've been digging back into #DonkeyKongBanaza for the last couple of days. I keep giving it every chance I can to win me over 😅
It hasn't managed to do that yet but at least I've made some progress.

I unlocked 'All Trials' in the 'Trial Towers' mode of #MarioTennisFever on #NintendoSwitch2 this week and it puts the main 'Adventure' to shame!
This is the real single player 😀

If you're celebrating #MAR10 day today, don't do it with the 'Adventure' mode in #MarioTennisFever 😳
I really like the game and I actually enjoyed the single player content in #MarioTennisAces but what is offered here feels horribly rushed and laughably poor!

I didn't really know what #Pragmata was, honestly, but I downloaded the demo on #NintendoSwitch2 and had a blast 🔥
It genuinely wasn't on my radar at all but I think that beating the demo has sold me on it!

Today's #NintendoDirect made me question if I even enjoy modern games because there is so little to excite me 😅
The most interesting thing was #CoolBoarders on #ConsoleArchives, not necessarily for that particular PS1 game but for what other games may be possible going forward!
