After a lot of thought, and taking accountability, I've decided that I won't be moving forward with the Doodlemon collection mint tomorrow. I spent the last month and a half building the Doodlemon, creating 151 Doodlemon, Trainers, artwork, lore, and everything that came along with it. What started as a fun creative experiment fueled by my love for both Pokémon and Doodles turned into something much bigger than I ever expected and I've had so much fun recently! Over the past few days, however, the project has received pushback, understandably so. Many people in this space whose opinions I truly respect have voiced their concerns, and at the end of the day, I have to do what is right. I started Doodlemon because it was the perfect blend between two IPs I absolutely LOVE. Doodles and Pokemon. However, although they came out absolutely adorable and amazing, it just wouldn't be the right thing to do. The reality is a $5,000 mint is not worth sacrificing my peace of mind, reputation and more. While I had already publicly committed to fully refunding everyone if the collection ever faced issues, that's ultimately is beside the point. What I am incredibly proud of is the community that formed around this project. Along the way, we introduced roughly 200 new users to Doodles AI Stoodio, met countless Pokémon and Doodles fans, and shared a lot of laughs, creativity, and nostalgia together on streams reaching up to almost 800 live viewers at once and around 300-400 viewers on average To every DOOD and DOODETTE who supported the project from Day 1: Thank you! Your encouragement, feedback, artwork, and enthusiasm means the world to me! Over the coming days, I'll be sharing the entire collection, all 151 Doodlemon plus the Trainer artwork so everyone can enjoy what we created together. I'm genuinely proud of the work ( which was way more than just putting it into the AI generator lol ) and I hope you'll enjoy looking through it as much as I loved bringing it to life! I'll be taking my creativity and using it on a better path moving forward. The live streams will continue until we get all 8 gym badges and beat the final 4! 🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 Be very careful if these guys, @BlockLayerPods, reach out to you via DM asking to do a podcast. It's a major phishing operation attempting to infect users with malware and gain access to wallets, accounts, and devices. > They DM random people out of nowhere, claiming they want to interview them for their "big podcast." > Once you reply, they build trust and eventually send links, Zoom calls, or files designed to install malware. > The malware is used to drain wallets, steal credentials, or take control of your computer. > They rebranded from an earlier scam called Web3Unchained, which reportedly stole over $100,000 using the exact same tactics. > Most of their episodes appear to be fake. They steal audio clips, edit them together, and multiple "guests" have stated they were never actually on the show. > Their website contains lorem ipsum placeholder text and suspicious job links. > They also have backup accounts ready to go (such as @BeaconLayerPod). > The entire operation appears to be run by a small group using bot accounts with NFT PFPs. I've had a lot of people reach out asking if this is legitimate, and they are 100% a scam. Stay far away, and please help spread the message. I'd hate to see more people get burned by this.
